We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from visitors. The Site does not have user accounts, contact forms, or any server-side data storage.

Geolocation: If you allow it, your browser shares your approximate location with the Site. This is used solely to query the iNaturalist API for local plant observations. Your coordinates are sent directly from your browser to iNaturalist's servers and are never stored by this Site.

2. Third-Party Services

The Site uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• BigDataCloud — used for reverse geocoding (converting GPS coordinates to a place name). Privacy Policy
• Globe.gl / unpkg CDN — JavaScript library for the 3D globe, loaded from unpkg.com.
• Tailwind CSS CDN — CSS framework loaded from cdn.tailwindcss.com.
• Cloudflare — the Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log IP addresses and request metadata for security purposes. Privacy Policy

3. Cookies and Advertising

The Site currently does not use cookies or tracking. In the future, the Site may display advertisements through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. When advertising is activated, this policy will be updated and a cookie consent notice will be displayed. You may opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

4. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
